I woke up this morning and saw that Alicia Keys was performing live on television.  I can’t remember what station but I believe it was Good Morning America. 

Any who…I noticed that she was wearing a jacket that caught my eye. Prior to that, my friend in Atlanta had told me about this jacket and said she was going to send an email. 

I finally got the email and wouldn’t you know it’s the same jacket! How ironic! Anyway, I think this jacket is hot, but I’ll let you be the judge.

Well I know most of you probably watched the AMA’s last night.  My face was glued to the television to see who wore what on the red carpet.   For those of you who did not catch the red carpet event I will do my top fav’s of last night.  A handful of stars that were on the red carpet last night really did not get me pumped.  The IT factor was missing! What’s up with that!  Instead of me writing about how disappointed I was in their outfit, I am going to let you decide and then tell me if I am right or wrong.

There were many stars on the red carpet yesterday but only a few really stood out in my mind.  Now for a little musical entertainment.  Did anyone witness history in the making last night on the AMA’s?  If you missed it, you know I will be posting a video down below for your pleasure.  Best performances last night hands down was Chris Brown, and Alicia Keys!  First off, Chris Brown was dancing upside down in the air.  How hard is that! Ummmmm I don’t think people really understood that he defied gravity.  Yeah he was suspended in air attached to a cable but to have the strength to dance like that is truly a gift.  (Whoa!)For the people who were confused about the explosion that happened on stage last night it was real history in the making.  Alicia Keys brought out the pioneers of Reggae and Dancehall.  This is actually the first time that they ever performed on a stage for the AMA’s in a commercial setting.  I love Alicia for that performance.  She could have gone the watered down way and used Elephant Man and Sean Paul but she kept it REAL HONEY!Here it goes again for anyone who missed it! Bullet, Bullet, Bullet!

Well the holiday season is slowly approaching the corner?  Are you ready for family visits or any kind of holiday season events?  Probably not!  As funny as it sounds I still have my air conditioner in my window.  I don’t know maybe I am wishing that winter will pass this year!! 

Anyway I know decorating your house for the holidays could be a hassle but I will give you some of my favorite ideas that could help those holiday decorating blues! 

 Bust out of the “norm” and make your holiday season memorable for your friends and family.  I usually decorate my living room for the fall/winter in colors that will be universal even after the holiday season is over.  I don’t like stress when decorating.  I tend to stick with warm colors in the fall/winter and then do a spring cleaning and change over into bright, light and airy for the spring/summer.

Remember you can set up your table anyway you wish, but if your not into decorating your dinning room for every holiday event then try to do something very low key and low maintenance by purchasing a fruit reef with a hurricane glass by sitting a candle inside to bring the ambiance of a lifetime.  You don’t have to be fancy…just be fashionable!  Even if you have never set a table before in your life, there is always room for learning something new and being very creative

Do you have a dining room chair that really doesn’t go with the decor. Well head over to www.surefit.com and purchase you a chair cover for the holidays.  Its very inexpensive and looks fabulous.  They are priced at $14.99 and can be taken off and thrown into the washer.  This works for most people because its quick and simple.  It provides sheer elegance and sophistication for any dinner party or holiday event.  The thing I love about this chair cover is when the holiday season is over you just pull off the cover and go back to normal.  You don’t have to pay the big bucks to get a chair upholstered or buy a chair just to make your home look its best.  

If your a non-traditional person you probably would want to go for a more modern look at the table.  Personally I adore this collection at target.  Even long after Thanksgiving and Christmas is over I could still have this up on my dinning room table until winter decides to leave us.

Hairology…Part II

 TURN THE HEAT UP ON UR HAIR!

 It has come to my attention that my readers really enjoyed “Hairology…Part I” …Now back by popular demand I will give you “Hairology…Part II…Fall Edition“.What hairstyle are you rockin’ this winter?  I know what you’re thinking…How can I possibly look fabulous with hat hair this winter? (Right)….Well its simple for us women…wear earmuffs…lol. 

No… on a serious note, we can look fabulous in any weather.  A little extra time in the mirror can always get the results you want.  I am going to be giving you the hottest hairstyles for this fall/winter.  Now we all know that the “bob” was very popular in the summer time thanks to Mrs. Victoria Beckham, and for some strange reason people are still searching for this hairstyle.  I don’t know about you but like the seasons, I change my hairstyle frequently.  

I cannot wear a short hairstyle in the winter! Just too cold! However, my other fashionista ladies out there might disagree with me, which is okay too.  I say if you can stand the wind whipping around those ears at 20 mph…Then rock that “bob” girrrrrl!!!!

Every-time I see this hairstyle it drives me crazy…….I love it so much!!! No wonder people are still cutting there hair off.  Who knew that this would be so popular.

Now #1 on my list would have to be Ms. Halle Berry!!! Now we all know that she is very famous for her short hair cuts over time, but ever since she announced that she is going to be a mommy, something about her new look is making a lot of people go out and duplicate this style.  Even though this style is very straight forward and simple it is still beautiful!!

Now who wouldn’t want to have long locks like Jessica Simpson!!

This next person is someone that has everyone going to the hair salon.  For a long time now people have been raving over Jennifer Aniston hair.  I think its sexy!  Its not to neat or messy

~Stylish Feet~

Well summer is finally over so that means if your like me and love to expose your feet at all times, winter can be pretty tough on you!!!
